After the polls close on March 4th.
We need to go to the local precinct meetings
........ also called Caucuses,
Get elected as delegates to the County Convention.
........ Usually anyone who has time to go, gets to be a delegate.
Then submit our open records resolution to be voted on.
........ It will usually pass easily at this level.
The resolution then goes to the County Convention.
....... There is always a fight in the resolutions committee
............ The party doesn't want the controversy.
.................. You will have to be there to defend it.
.................. It helps to have lots of precincts submitting the same
resolution.
....... If it emerges from the committee,
........... It will go to the floor for a vote,
................ When it p*****, it becomes part of the County Platform.
...................... In theory local County judges should sup****t the
platform.
Now it is passed on to the State Convention
....... and it goes through the same process.
................ You can become a State delegate.
..................... and State wide judges should sup****t the platform.
In the past the resolution has died in the resolutions committee.
............ at the State level.
...... and never makes it to the floor for a vote.
........... kinda like the treatment we get at the legislature.
If it p*****
...... then it moves to National level etc...
