A 94-foot-high statue was unveiled
in front of the Smithsonian Institution's
Museum of Natural History this morning,
honoring the nation's physical anthro-
pologists for pursuing true answers
about man's origin and ancestry.

One protester -- an Ed Conrad, whom
police learned had escaped from the
Home for the Criminally Insane in Shen-
andoah, Pa. -- was holding up a giant
photo that really stirred up the evolutionists
and led to quite a disturbance. It began
when some lady anthros starting hitting
the poor guy over the head with their purses.

Fortunately, the instigator was quickly
beaten to a pulp by at least two dozen
Institution scientists -- many with Masters
degrees -- and his body then dumped
into the Potomac.
Scheduled speakers were to include
President Karl Rove, VP Paul Wolfowitch,
Dick Cheney, Lewis "Scooter" Libby,
Donald Rumsfed, George W. Bush, Keith
Olbermann and the REAL Howard Stern.
