1. IMSA 21CIF ****tal Adds New Guide: How to Create a 21CIF Program at Your
School
This HOWTO guide has been written to address requests from teachers and
librarians who have wondered about how to put a program together for their
school to share their 21CIF skills and resources.
In the site you will see some recommended steps and specific examples of
well-established programs. There are examples of lesson plans, ideas, web
sites; other resources will continue to be added to in the future. Our
goal is to show a complete program with examples of the component
parts. Current program examples are provide by Dr. Elaine Buch, Addison
Trail High School, Chris Balsano, Downers Grove High School, and Jane
Sharka and Tom Bohdan, both of Naperville Central High School.
We know that every school and every situation is different and think of
these steps as an outline. Individual components may or may not apply to
your situation. We hope that this will give you a good start, a place to
see live examples and where you can ask questions of those who have
already
blazed this trail.
