Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) for teachers

by comicausey@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (comicausey) Feb 4, 2004 at 02:34 PM

Todays teachers need some kind of computer knowledge to be successful.
Here is one avenue to consider. Many technical schools offer
Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) certification courses. These
courses include MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Powerpoint.
There are different degrees to the MOUS program that start at the
beginner level; take you through the intermediate levels, and finish
at the expert level. These courses usually, depending on geographic
location and market competition, average $2000 for the complete
program of all five courses at all three levels. One could take the
courses individually at a individual rate or if have prior knowledge
just take the MS exams. The exams are given at the end of the course.
Once passed, you will receive a Microsoft certificate for the level of
exam you take. These certificates can advance you through the
education profession. Hope this enlightens you to another avenue of
being successful.
