Register for Technology + Learning Conference by Sept 30
The annual education technology conference, T+L2: Leading Learning to
a Higher Level, takes place Oct. 27 to 29, 2004, in Denver, Colorado.
At T+L2, Michael Hawley, director of special projects at MIT, will be
joined by dozens of educators at this three-day technology event. Sir
Ken Robinson, international expert on creativity in education, and
Cile Chavez, former superintendent and education reformer, will give
keynote addresses. Other noted speakers include Elliot Soloway, Ian
Jukes, Cheryl Lemke, Marc Prensky, Bernajean ****ter, Susan Patrick,
Milton Chen, Timothy Waters, and members of the Thornburg Center.
Hundreds of leading education technology companies, including Apple,
Gateway, LeapFrog, Pearson Digital Learning, and Scholastic, will
also be a vital part of the learning experience for conference-goers.
The core of the conference program is the more than 80 workshop
presentations. Presenters will be sharing their experiences in
interactive sessions on No Child Left Behind solutions including the
use of data, connecting with the community, and improving reading. In
addition, workshops and roundtable discussions will provide practical
tools and tips for finding education technology solutions and will
showcase real-life stories from educators in the field.
Sponsored by more than 25 nonprofit organizations, this Conference
brings educators the latest ideas, solutions, and innovations in
education from across the country.
Teachers, administrators, and anyone interested in technology are
