It's hubby again this time, bored and lonely, much like I'm sure she is,
sat
in the hospital!
She went to the local hospital (where she was booked to have the baby)
because she felt so damn rotten and exhausted, but they sent her on to
Shrewsbury, a somewhat less local hospital. Anywho, she's been there all
day
and will be there for tomorrow and maybe longer. She was very dehydrated
when she got there, so they have put her on a drip. We suspect they would
have induced labour, but they said they wouldn't because of how ill she
was... she just didn't have the strength left in her.
So now she's spending her many long hours in a small private room, hoping
to
get some sleep in between the screams that can be heard through the
apparently cardboard walls!
Believe it or not, Andrea is one hell of a tough woman, so for her to have
given up all her fight and decide to just break away to the hospital for
some R&R is a big thing. She worries more than anyone I know, so I have to
keep phoning her to let her know everything is (still) ok! I'm glad she is
getting this rest because when I go to see her she greets me with a smile
instead of a face full of pain. Soon it will all be over (I keep telling
her) and she'll have yet another beautiful baby boy!
Thanks for listening. I'm gonna print off your posts and take em with me
tomorrow so she has something to read during all those hours with nothing
to
do!
