Oh, yes, the "bed of instant wakefulness," as my husband called it. My
first child was
like this - we just slept with her (neither of us was worried about
rolling over on,
her). We kept trying the crib, though, and by the time she was 3
months old she
would at least start out the night in the crib, even though she usually
ended up back
with us around 3 a.m. Personally, I thought it was easier to go with
whatever
gave the baby the best night's sleep, even though co-sleeping is not my
preference.
Fortunately, #2 never objected to the crib.
