One thing that worked well with my DD was one of my T-****rts.  I
would put her in her basinette, cover her with a blanket, then I
would put one of my T-****rts over her.  She would sleep longer
with my smell there.

The T-****rt has to be worn.  I would use the T-****rt that I slept
in.  It smelled like me.  You want your T-****rt to smell like
you.
