Yep. I have an immediate neighbor who has indoor furniture on the front
****ch
and stuff all over the yard, an uncertain number of noisy miniature
pincers
running around, recurring noisy marital problems, and now five kids.
Anyone
driving through would be thinking "um - *that* house....".
But they're friendly, don't get their backs up and all defensive if
they're
approached nicely (and not too frequently) about some of their excesses,
have
done better (though not perfectly) keeping their dogs to home and quieter,
and
are clearly doing their best. Some in our circle street ask me 'how can
you
stand it' but it's really tolerable if one is willing to grant a little
special
leeway. Which all of their immediate neighbors do. Small costs for peace
:-)
