Just to level set since Ericka and I got into the disagreement on the
emergency
plan thing and that's all people have seen for awhile - I *do* think it
would be
nice for grandkiddo to go places in the car with Grandma (within reason). 
I
just don't think 'would be nice' trumps a parent's concerns, be they
fearful or
cautious.

And recall this grandma is in her fifties.
